Birthday

Well, yesterday was my birthday, Im now a quarter of a century old. They could make a commemorative coin to celebrate the occasion - thats how OLD I am. Oh well. I got some sweet gifts though - I got a lense that can supposedly fit my dinky digital camera, some yarn for my blanket, some pjs, and some pots and pans for when I move out. My grandma came over, and my mom made lasagna and a strawberry cake - it was yummy. Then we watched Meet the Fockers, and then went to bed. Good times. It was relaxing.

Fiber Optics Rule!

Well hello world! I havent updated this in forever because...well there were many reasons but the most prominent was the fact that we had dial-up connection and our computer has been running slower than ever lately, or should I say HAD been running slower. We finally got a permanent connection to the web on friday so I now have all the time in the world to update my blog! (cheers arise from the crowded masses) Of course, I am now faced with a dilemma...how to update all the time lost...summarize!

Prague - awesome! Beautiful! The buildings were amazingly beautiful, I took a ton of pictures so if you ever want to see them stop on by. I of course got a lot of souvenirs to remember the trip by. The only part that stunk was riding in planes for that long. It made my back hurt. It wouldnt have been that bad, if it hadnt been for so long. 24 hrs in airports is not my idea of fun. My mom and I got along well, she put up with me at least. The first day we slept and walked around a little. Day 2 we got lost trying to find the place where the tour started, so we explored and shopped instead. Day 3 we took a walking tour and shopped some more. Day 4 we took a tour to a city outside of Prague and I visited this cool church that was decorated entirely with human bones (Kutna Hora) and shopped a little. That night we ate out in the middle of the old town square under the moon and stars. It was beautiful. We were so lucky with the weather, cool enough to bundle up but warm enough so that sometimes, coats werent even necessary. I didnt want to leave. The place has so much history in it, if you want to know just read my travel journal - heck I didnt even write it all down there, too much. But Im good with explaining pictures so please ask sometime.

Since then its just been work. I got sick when we got back, so that had me down and out for a week. But otherwise I have just been trying to get work done and hanging out with my Sunday School group (im trying to make an effort). I guess thats it. Not very detailed but it will have to do. Im going to go crochet now. Bye!
